Natural Slate Roof Replacement

This project involved the complete replacement of an ageing pitched roof using premium natural slate, giving the property a traditional appearance with the long-term performance expected from a modern roofing system.

The existing roof covering was carefully stripped back, allowing us to inspect the roof structure before installing a new breathable roofing membrane and treated timber battens. High-quality natural slates were then fitted throughout, ensuring perfectly aligned courses and a clean, uniform finish across the entire roof.

As part of the installation, new leadwork was formed around the chimney and roof junctions to provide lasting weather protection, while the ridge was completed with a secure dry ridge system for improved ventilation and maintenance-free performance.

The result is a beautifully finished slate roof that complements the character of the property while providing exceptional durability, weather resistance and many decades of reliable service.
